NATIONWIDE LEAGUE, Division 3 promotion hopefuls Bournemouth are the latest club to show interest in Sittingbourne’s 19-year-old midfield prospect Andrew Drury.
Acting on reports from a scout, manager Sean O’Driscoll has invited Drury for trials at Dean Court next Wednesday and Thursday with the prospect of playing in a couple of reserve games.
“A scout in this area has recommended Andrew to Bournemouth and now they want to take a closer look,” said Sittingbourne manager Mark Beeney.
“But he is keeping his options open and is also due back at Derby on Monday. They want to take another look because the last time he went up there he was forced to play out of position.”
Drury also had trials with Gillingham earlier this season and was invited to train with them.
