NICHOLAS LOVELL, the teenage son of former Gillingham and Wales striker Steve, could be heading for Brazil in November to represent England in the celebral palsy World Cup.
The 19-year-old utility player has been called into England's national development squad for training at Lilleshall on June 15 in preparation for two matches in Scotland. If selected, it will be Nicholas's England debut.
Father Steve, now managing Sittingbourne, said: "Being called into the national development squad is an achievement in itself and Nicholas is very excited.
"If he went to Brazil, it would be beyond his wildest dreams."
