A28 Rolvenden Road closed between Smallhythe Road and Cranbrook Road after car hits bollard

An accident has closed the A28 into Tenterden this morning.
Police say a car driven by an elderly person hit a bollard in Rolvenden Road at around 10am.
Emergency services are on the scene.
The car is blocking the A28 which is closed between the junctions with Smallhythe Road and Cranbrook Road while the vehicle and debris are removed. A lamppost was also hit.
Stagecoach has tweeted that the 9.49am service to Hastings has been delayed due to the accident.
