Biker suffers back injuries in collision

A 30-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious back injuries after his machine was in collision with a car.
The crash happened in Shoreham Lane, Tenterden, near Ashford, at about 8.15am on Tuesday.
The rider of the Kawasaki motorcycle, a local man, was taken to a London hospital.
The driver of the Vauxhall Corsa car, also a local man, was not injured.
Kent Police's Serious Crash Investigation Unit attended the scene initially, and the road was closed until about 12.45pm.
