Large bales of straw have crushed at least one car and damaged lampposts and railings after falling from a trailer in Tenterden.
At least one vehicle was crushed and several others damaged in the accident which left straw strewn along the High Street on Wednesday evening.
Falling bales also knocked over a lamppost, bending it almost flat, and bent railings lining the road.
Traffic lights were also reportedly damaged as the accident left a trail of destruction from Nero's Cafe to Crew Clothing.
It happened at about 7pm.
Police were called but no one is thought to have been injured.
The road was left partially blocked by the fallen straw which was strewn in line down the street.
A forklift truck was called in to move the straw, and clear a path for traffic.
