Crews put out chimney fire at Cranbrook Road, Tenterden

Fire crews are warning homeowners with open fires to have their chimneys swept regularly after tackling a blaze.
Kent Fire and Rescue sent two appliances to deal with a chimney fire at a Cranbrook Road, Tenterden, this morning.
They attended the incident a 8.47am and spent half an hour at the property putting out the fire using thermal imaging cameras to find and extinguish hot spots.
The homeowners were advised to get their chimney swept before lighting any further fires.
