Elderly woman freed after crash in Turners Avenue, Tenterden

An elderly woman was rescued after a crash last night.
The collision, between a car and a bus, happened on Turners Avenue, Tenterden around 5.45pm.
The woman, thought to be in her 80s, was trapped on the bus due to damage done to the doors.
Firefighters were called to get the doors open and free the woman.
She was given first aid by crew members, and did not require hospital treatment.
