Crew members wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet, compressed air foam and a main jet to put out the blaze.

The residents were not home when the fire broke out, but a neighbour who alerted the fire service, had to be treated by paramedics after breathing in the smoke.

The cause of the fire is not known.
