Fire crews tackle field fire in Smallhythe Road in Tenterden

Firefighters have tackled a field fire.
Two fire engines were called to a field in Smallhythe Road in Tenterden.
Crews arrived to heavy smoke plumes and ten acres of field alight at about 1.30pm.
They used hose reel jets and beaters to tackle the blaze.
No casualties were reported and the cause is not yet known.
