The car has been removed but the lorry and debris are still causing an obstruction.

Ambulance spokesman Rich Airey said a man in his 40s, who was in the car, was treated at the scene for a facial injury but no one required hospital treatment.

Police spokesman Jon Green said: "Kent Police was called at 9.08 am to reports a BMW car had been involved in a collision with a lorry in High Street, Biddenden, near the John Mayne Primary School.

"There are not believed to be any serious injuries.

"The BMW has been recovered but the lorry has still to be recovered and the debris cleared.

"It is blocking the road so motorists are being advised to expect delays and find alternative routes if possible."
