Man suffers epileptic fit after alleged assault

POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a 28-year-old man was taken to hospital with head injuries and bruising to his body following an incident outside a pub.
An ambulance crew and police officers were called after the man began to have an epileptic fit following an alleged assault.
The incident happened in High Street, Tenterden, near Ashford, at about 11pm on Saturday.
The 28 year-old man was taken to hospital. His condition is not life-threatening.
A 22-year-old local man has been was arrested in connection with the incident and released on bail pending further enquiries.
PC Eddie Evans said: “We would like to speak to anyone who was in the area between 10pm and 11pm on Saturday and may have seen a fight taking place."
