AN INTERNATIONAL search was launched after a boy of 14 was reported missing from his home at St Michael's, near Tenterden.
Police caught up with the youngster in Athens on Tuesday evening and brought him back home. It is believed he had been heading for Kuwait after developing a relationship with a girl on the internet.
The boy's mother contacted police when she discovered he was not at a friend's home.
Kent Police spokeswoman Rosy Alexander said the teenager was safely back with his family this morning.
