Mobility scooter reported stolen in burglary in Hales Close, Tenterden

A stolen mobility scooter was found dumped in a field more than four miles away from its owner's home.
The red vehicle, belonging to a pensioner in his 80s, had been reportedly taken during a burglary in Tenterden.
It was believed to have been swiped from a garage in Hales Close between 9.30am on Thursday, January 17 and 1pm the next day.
But the scooter was later found in a field in Woodchurch.
A Nokia mobile phone, which was kept in the scooter, was also reported stolen and remains missing.
Witnesses and anyone with information are asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/11847/19.
