One killed and three injured in horror road crash

A 14-year-old girl has been killed in a major road accident near a Kent golf club.
The victim was a back seat passenger in a Honda Civic that was in collision with a Land Rover in Woodchurch Road, near Tenterden Golf Club, shortly before 3pm on Thursday.
She was taken to Ashford's William Harvey Hospital where she died of her injuries.
The driver and another passenger in the Honda - both 21-year-old local women - were also taken to the William Harvey.
The driver remains in hospital with non life-threatening injuries, but the other passenger has been discharged.
A 43-year-old Gillingham man who was driving the Land Rover sustained minor injuries.
The road was closed until 5pm while Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit investigated the scene.
