A 32-year-old man and a woman aged 40 have been arrested and bailed by Kent Police officers investigating the death of a three-month old baby at Tenterden, near Ashford.
Detectives say the man was originally questioned in February and returned to answer police bail on Tuesday this week.
The woman was also quizzed in connection with the same inquiry.
Police said the pair were freed on police bail pending a decision by the Crown Prosecution Service on whether to proceed with a prosecution.
