After removing a panel from the boiler it was reported the man tried to get into every room in the house, saying that he needed to check the radiators.

He left shortly afterwards and the victim called his boiler company who confirmed they had not sent anyone to work in the property.

Although nothing was reported stolen during the incident, which happened during the day on September 28, 2018, officers are treating the report as suspicious.

The man is described as white, aged between 45 to 50 years old, and 6 ft tall.

Anyone with information about the report, or if they recognise the image, is asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting ZY/61068/18.
