A brick was hurled at a car travelling through a Kent village from a “tatty-looking tipper-style truck”.
A driver was travelling from Tenterden towards Rolvenden on the A28 at around 1.15pm on Wednesday and on entering the 40mph zone in the village, saw a hand emerge from the truck’s cab and the brick being thrown.
It bounced off the bonnet before striking the windscreen.
The truck is described as very tatty with a rusty white cab. It is believed there were two people in the cab at the time.
Police are appealing for information and witnesses following the incident.
Anyone who saw the incident or has any information that would help police identify the truck or its owner, is asked to contact police sergeant Eric Norman on 101 quoting crime ref ZY/21612/15, or to call Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
