Pupils' global education plea

KENT pupils were among the hundreds converging on Westminster today to ask ministers to do more for the 100 million children world-wide who miss out on education.
Education minister Charles Clarke and International Development minister Hilary Benn were answering questions from youngsters as part of the Campaign for Global Education.
Kent was being represented by the Homewood school in Tenterden. One of the teachers there, Hannah Scarisbrick, told KM-fm that the global situation must be addressed...
