Power cables were damaged this afternoon when a car crashed near Tenterden.
The driver of the car avoided injury though when their car hit a pole in Smallhythe Road.
Police were called to the accident close to the Chapel Down Vineyard which happened shortly before 1.30pm.
The road has been closed for most of the afternoon because of the damage.
No injuries have been reported, police confirmed.
