Burglars fled in a 4x4 after being disturbed as they smashed their way into a business in Smarden.

Southern Commercials Ltd on the Smarden Business Estate was targeted at around 7pm on Friday.

One of the window frames was removed and the glass was smashed, but nothing was reported stolen.

Police say the suspects were disturbed during the incident and were seen leaving the unit in a 4x4 vehicle.
