Teenager seriously injured after Mini One crashes near Benenden

A teenager has been seriously injured after the car he was driving crashed into a tree.
The 19-year-old was airlifted to hospital after the incident near Benenden yesterday.
Emergency services were called to Golford Road at around 12.20pm after a silver Mini One left the road and collided with the tree.
The driver was taken to a London hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
Officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the vehicle prior to the incident.
Drivers with dashcam and residents with private CCTV are also asked to check for footage that may assist the investigation.
