Highways engineers are continuing to clear a road after a tree was blown over by high winds in Tenterden.

The B2067 Woodchurch Road was blocked and a tree surgeon has been called in to clear the road.

There are fears that a BT telephone line has been affected, and a KCC Highways spokesman said BT has been informed.
