Woman hurt as car crashes into field

A YOUNG woman was taken to hospital by air ambulance after her car left the road and careered into a field.
The 19-year-old woman was treated for suspected spinal injuries and taken to Ashford's William Harvey Hospital after the incident on the Woodchurch Road at Tenterden on Tuesday.
Police and three fire and rescue appliances, from Tenterden, Cranbrook and Ashford, attended the scene at about 11.50am. Kent Police said the road was blocked for about 30 minutes.
