Fire crews and police called to High Halden Road, in Biddenden after car crashes into ditch

A young woman had to be cut free from her car after it flipped over on its side and crashed into a ditch.
Kent Fire and Rescue crews attended the incident at High Halden Road, Biddenden, at 5.49pm last night and were there for an hour.
They used hydraulic rescue equipment to cut the vehicle’s roof off and release the 26 year-old. Two appliances were at the crash site.
A Kent Air Ambulance doctor and paramedic, who arrived by road, treated the woman at the scene for arm injuries before she was transferred to the William Harvey Hospital, in Ashford.
Kent Police and SECAmb were also in attendance.
No other vehicle was involved in the crash.
