A brewer is giving away 500 pints to punters at an open-air pub when the Euros kick-off this Friday.

Dreamland Margate will be showing key games on a big screen after it was transformed into a 1,000-seat fan zone for its 'Summer Social' event.

Faversham brewer Shepherd Neame is celebrating the first Euros match, Italy v Turkey, by offering 500 free pints to guests.

The iconic Scenic Stage recently showed the Champions League Final to a sell-out crowd.

Fans will be able to watch the biggest fixtures - including all three of England's group matches - at the venue which is complete with a giant screen, live DJs and a range of street food and drinks.

Friday night's opening game launches the start of the month-long tournament, with the semi-finals and final being staged at Wembley Stadium on July 11.

England are set to take on Croatia in their first group match on Sunday at 2pm, followed by two evening kick-offs - both 8pm - against Scotland on June 18 and Czech Republic on June 22.

KentOnline recently tried out the 'Summer Social' experience at the Scenic Stage.

Punters will have to follow strict Covid procedures, including a one-way system through the main entrance and exit, staying at their tables (unless using the toilet facilities) and wearing face masks when leaving their tables.

Customers can enjoy a mix of booze, including pints ranging from £5 to £6, and a four-pint jug costing between £20 to £23.

There are a range of street food vendors, including fish and chips from Seawise, Rad Burger and pizza from Ovesu Van.

Tables can be booked in groups of up to six people, compliant with the latest government guidelines and drinks can be ordered via smartphone.
