Thomas Kiely from London fifth man charged after power outage at Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother hospital in Margate

A fifth man has been charged following a power outage at a hospital.
The arrest was made in connection with an incident at the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Margate in February.
Thomas Kiely, 27 of Tower Hamlets, London, was arrest on Wednesday.
The power outage happened at about 7.15pm on Wednesday, February 20 when power lines were damaged at the hospital in Ramsgate Road.
Kiely, was charged by detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate with conspiracy to steal and criminal damage with intent to endanger life.
He has been remanded to appear before Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court today.
Four other men were previously arrested on Thursday, February 21 in connection with the incident.
Noel Mahoney, 23, of Bow, London, Patrick Kiely, 35, of Bromley-by-Bow, London, James Kiely, 37, of Shipston on Stour, Warwickshire and Jonathon Whitty, 38 of Bow, London have all been charged with the same offence.
All four were also remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Crown Court for a hearing on a date to be confirmed.
