Air ambulance lands at Chatham House Grammar School field in Ramsgate

An air ambulance landed in a school field amid a large emergency response to a medical incident.
The helicopter touched ground at Chatham House Grammar School in Ramsgate.
A witness said that police, fire and paramedics are also on the scene nearby at Brunswick Court flats in Hardres Street.
They added: “I saw it land on the school field behind the houses.
“I went back inside for 20 minutes and when I came back out it was still there.
“Ambulance, police and the fire brigade are on scene already outside Brunswick Court.”
An ambulance service spokesman said: “We were called at approximately 11.45am on Monday February 12 to reports of a person in need of medical attention.
“Ambulance crews attended and were joined at the scene by Air Ambulance Charity Kent, Surrey, Sussex.
“The person was treated at the scene before being taken to QEQM hospital by road in a serious condition.”
