Armed police in Newington Road in Ramsgate

Armed police have been called to Ramsgate.
Officers carried out a pre-planned search warrant at a property in the Newington Road close to the junction with Stirling Way.
The operation is being carried out following an armed robbery at a bookmakers in the road yesterday.
Inquiries are ongoing.
