Burglary arrest after man seen climbing building in Margate

Officers have arrested a man spotted climbing a building following reports of burglaries.
Kent Police were told of a suspected break-in taking place at a commercial premises in Marine Drive, Margate, at about 8.20am on Monday.
It was reported that someone had been seen walking through the building.
Officers from the Thanet Community Policing Team attended and searched the area before detaining a man seen climbing down to the ground from a room in a flat.
He was further arrested following a report that a private address had also been burgled in the same area that morning.
A 42-year-old man from Margate was arrested on suspicion of burglary and taken into custody while enquiries continue.
