Man and woman arrested for child neglect after car ploughs through garden wall in Birchington

A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit and child neglect after a car ploughed through a garden wall.
Police were called to Canterbury Road, Birchington, at around 8.20pm on Friday following reports a car had left a road.
A 28-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of child neglect.
Both have been bailed until Tuesday, April 21 pending further enquiries.
No serious injuries were reported but a woman and two children were taken to hospital as a precaution.
