Big Brother star Marcus Bentley joins Margate panto

Look who’s talking - Marcus Bentley, the voice of Big Brother for generations of television fans is joining in panto in Margate.
He will star as ‘the mirror’ in the town operatic society’s festive show Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Producer Stuart Clements said: “We are delighted to welcome Marcus to the team and his memorable and evocative voice will add an extra twist to the show.”
Marcus who is originally from the North East has lived ‘down south’ for the last 21 years. In 1997 he married Julie, a ‘southern lass’ and they now have three children.
Marcus trained at East 15 Acting School and has had a varied and interesting acting career but is recognised instantly for his narration of Big Brother.
He has narrated every series and all of the spin-off shows and has one of the most well-known and imitated voices on TV.
Stuart added: “Marcus was thrilled to be asked to perform in the panto and will be bringing his family along to watch the show.”
Performances are from Wednesday, December 4, to Sunday, December 8, at 7.30pm nightly with matinees on the Saturday and Sunday at 2.30pm.
