Ramsgate: Devices removed from empty property in Mentmore Road

A bomb disposal team has removed two 'devices' from an empty property.
Police were called to Mentmore Road, Ramsgate, shortly before 3pm yesterday after a report of the discovery of suspected wartime munitions.
Two devices were safely taken from the property by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal team.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police attended an unoccupied property in Mentmore Road in Ramsgate following a report of suspected wartime munitions at 2.52pm on Monday, June 4.
"The Explosive Ordnance Disposal team attended and safely removed the two devices."
