Car deliberately driven at special constable in Northdown Road, Margate

Police are hunting a motorist after a car was driven towards an officer.
A vehicle shot towards the police special constable in Margate on Monday.
The driver of the red Daewoo Matiz drove at the officer after they were asked to stop in Northdown Road at 6.10am.
The officer, who was on foot, fled before any contact was made and was not injured.
The vehicle was later found abandoned in Fort Paragon, Margate, and inquiries to identify its driver are ongoing.
Detectives would like to speak with anyone who may be able to help with the investigation and are keen to obtain dashcam footage or CCTV, that captures the vehicle’s movements.
