Fire crews called to vehicle fire on farmland off Broadley Road, Margate

Firefighters who tackled a car blaze have said it was started deliberately.
Crews were called to reports a vehicle was alight on farmland off Broadley Road, in Margate, at around 10.25pm.
A firefighter wearing breathing apparatus used a high-pressure hose reel jet to put out the flames.
There were no reported injuries and operations were completed an hour later, by 11.30pm on Friday night (January 12).
A spokesman for the service said the cause of the fire is thought to be “deliberate”.
Duty of care was passed onto the police, which has been contacted for further information, and the landowner.
