Car crashes into Co-op Funeralcare in King Street, Ramsgate

Emergency services descended on a funeral directors after a car ploughed into the building.
Pictures shared online show a Peugeot estate which appears to have been driven through the window of Co-op Funeralcare in King Street, Ramsgate.
Police, paramedics and the fire service were called to the scene. It is understood an air ambulance also landed at nearby Chatham House Grammar School.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Officers are currently in Plains of Waterloo, Ramsgate following reports that a car has collided with a building. Kent Police was called at 2.47pm."
Two fire engines were sent to the incident and left shortly after 4pm.
Ambulances have also left the scene but police remain in the area this evening.
It is understood Plains of Waterloo remains closed near King Street.
Police and the ambulance service have been contacted for further details.
