Cat treated after flat fire in Park Road, Ramsgate

A cat was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene of a fire this morning.
Crews were called to a blaze in a ground floor flat in Park Road, Ramsgate at about 9.15am.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet and main jet to extinguish the flames, before clearing the property of smoke.
No casualties were reported, but a cat was treated for smoke inhalation with oxygen therapy.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
