Police release CCTV image following robbery in Rydal Avenue, Ramsgate

Police investigating a robbery in Ramsgate have issued a new CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.

Two men reportedly entered a shop in Rydal Avenue and assaulted a victim before making away with a quantity of cash.

It happened on on January 31 between 8.30 and 8.40pm and police have launched a renewed appeal for information.

A 25-year-old man, from Ramsgate, has now been arrested in connection with the robbery on April 18.

He has since been released on police bail until Saturday May 5.

Investigating officer PC Justine Cullen said: "We are continuing to appeal for information in relation to this robbery and are now in a position to issue a CCTV image.

"While the faces of the people in the image may not seem clear, we are asking anyone who thinks they recognise either person or have information which could assist our investigation to come forward."
