Following musician David Bowie's death from cancer a cinema in Westgate will show special screenings of his film Labyrinth.
The shows at the Carlton Cinema will raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and two more have been planned after the first sold out in just three and a half hours.
Manager of Carlton Cinema Joanne Holmes said: “It is really astonishing the rate that people wanted to buy tickets, and support Macmillian Cancer Support. Our on-line booking sales system failed because of the demand.”
The sold-out screening takes place on January 29 at 8pm.
Two further shows have been planned for January 30 at 10am and 8pm and tickets are still available at http://www.westgatecinema.co.uk/
