Devoted dads are being offered the best seats in the house at Margate’s Big Event later this month.
Kent’s leading air and land festival is a free event and takes place at Palm Bay on Saturday and Sunday, June 20-21.
But a special Father’s Day hospitality package, including impressive views of the airborne entertainment from a place in the VIP marquee and patio, as well as a welcome drink, three-course Sunday lunch and afternoon tea, is available at £30 plus VAT.
The upgrade also includes VIP free parking, a free shuttle bus to and from Margate railway station and a waitress bar service.
Meanwhile, Sky Charter are offering discounts on another unforgettable experience, with 20 per cent off helicopter flights along the spectacular Thanet coastline - a saving of £20 for a family of four.
Margate’s Big Event is Thanet District Council’s flagship event, attracting tens of thousands of visitors every year.
The star attraction for 2009 is the return of the famous Red Arrows, which will wow crowds on the Saturday.
Team Viper, Hawk 208 Squadron and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will also take to the skies during the spectacular airshow.
On the ground, entertainment will include top street performers and children’s entertainers, as well as a craft fair and a food village.
'They Will Rock You’ - an amazingly authentic performance of Queen’s legendary live concert - headlines a musical extravaganza on the Saturday night, followed by a dazzling fireworks display.
