Pictures have emerged of a dead seal washed up on the beach.
The seal was discovered by a walker in Broadstairs earlier this morning.
The large seal was already dead when she was found on the sands at Viking Bay at around 11.30am.
The picture was shared by Raff Bel who appealed for help to find a person to give the seal a proper resting place.
It comes just days after a "feisty seal" was found on a neighbouring beach and recovered by volunteers when he got trapped behind rocks.
The cheeky chap was rescued alive and well and returned to the water after getting stuck at Stone Bay on Tuesday.
According to reports, authorities have been notified to remove the seal's body from the beach.
A spokesman for Thanet District Council confirmed teams will work together with Kent County Council to organise the suitable disposal.
The council will send a beach tractor later today before the body is passed to KCC which will then take it away.
The spokesman said: "This has to be organised at the same time, as once removed the seal cannot be stored and must be transported by KCC to the disposal site immediately."
