Dog rescued from home in Northumberland Avenue, Cliftonville after garage fire breaks out

A dog was rescued from a home after a blaze broke out in a garage.
Fire crews were called to Northumberland Avenue in Cliftonville, Margate, at about 2.30pm today.
Three fire engines arrived and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel and main jets to extinguish the flames.
The volunteer response team also attended.
Crews left the scene at about 4.15pm.
A fire service spokesperson said: “There were no reported injuries and a dog was rescued from the property.
“The cause is not yet known.”
