Dreamland Trust goes on tour across district

Whether you'd like to find out more or share old memories, the Dreamland Trust is on tour this month.

Informal roadshows events will be free to enter and people will be able to talk to representatives from the trust and find out more about the charity's work.

They will also have the opportunity to share their memories of Dreamland.

Bernie Morgan, chairman of the Dreamland Trust, said: "Dreamland has been visited by thousands of people of all ages over many decades and has been the source of many special memories for so many people.

"We are committed to preserving the park's heritage so that it can create memories for generations to come.

"By making the history of the park accessible to the public through a programme of community and learning opportunities and projects so we can help preserve the heritage of Dreamland."

The drop in events will be held from 2.30-4.30pm and refreshments will be available.

Dates as follows:

  • Today - Royal Temple Yacht Club, Ramsgate
  • Tomorrow - The Centre, Birchington
  • Tuesday, March 20 - St Peters Church Hall, Broadstairs
  • Wednesday, March 21 - Minster village hall
  • Wednesday, March 28 - Turner Contemporary, Margate
