Ramsgate: Man arrested on suspicion of transporting stolen cars

A man has been arrested on suspicion of transporting stolen cars, after police pulled over an HGV in Ramsgate.
The vehicles were reported as stolen from the Walton area of Surrey, and officers received information they were in Kent.
Kent Police stopped the lorry, which was carrying the three vehicles, in Minster early that morning.
The driver was promptly detained.
It happened last Friday.
A Surrey Police spokesman said: "A 41-year-old man was arrested in connection with the stolen vehicles and has been released under investigation.
"A full police investigation is underway."
