Police hunt driver after five-car crash closed Ramsgate Road, Margate, and left woman in hospital

Police are hunting a driver who fled the scene of a five-car crash which shut a major thoroughfare and left one woman in hospital.
Ramsgate Road, Margate, was closed by police at about 4.30pm on Monday to allow the emergency services to attend to injured road users.
The vehicles involved were a grey Peugeot estate, a silver BMW, a silver Toyota estate, a white Vauxhall Corsa and a green Honda Accord.
By the time officers arrived at the incident the driver of the Honda had absconded.
Police are now urging any witnesses who have not yet spoken to come forward and call Neil Findon on 01843 222289, with reference number 01-0921.
The woman's injuries were not considered to be life-threatening.
