Manston Road in Birchington closed for two hours after crash

A driver has been taken to hospital following a car crash that closed country lane.
Emergency services were called to Manston Road in Birchington shortly after 10.30pm last night.
The route was shut to traffic for almost two hours following the incident.
A police spokesman has since confirmed officers were called to a report of a single-vehicle collision.
"Officers attended and enforced a road closure to assist paramedics after the driver reported injuries," he said.
"He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
"The road was reopened at about 12.30am."
