Two arrests after police and man attacked in Birchington

A 20-year-old woman has been arrested after two police officers were attacked.
Officers were called out to Shottendane Road, Birchington, in the early of Saturday following a separate assault.
While at the scene, a woman was arrested on suspicion of assaulting emergency workers after two policemen were attacked.
During the same call-out, another man was charged with carrying out a serious assault on a man in his 50s.
Officers arrested Danny Gray, 26, and he appeared at at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
The Gordon Road resident was bailed to appear at Canterbury Crown Court in March.
Police say the assaulted victim sustained injuries.
Meanwhile, the arrested 20-year-old woman, who is from Ramsgate, has been released on bail until March 2.
