Football fans who missed out on first release tickets to watch the next England match at Dreamland will have to fork out double the price.

Theme park bosses launched the Euros fan zone at the Margate attraction at the start of the tournament, offering a giant screen, live DJs and food and drink, as part of its Summer Social line-up.

Those quick enough to bag an early release ticket before they sold out have had to pay only £5 per head to attend, including a table of six for £30, five for £25 or four for £20.

Now, those wanting to watch England take on Germany on Tuesday, will have to pay £60 for a table for six, £50 for five, £40 for four and so on – £10 per head.

The cost does not include any food and drinks. Pints are priced between £5 and £6 and a four-pint jug costs between £20 to £23.

KentOnline recently tried out the 'Summer Social' experience at the Scenic Stage.

Punters will have to follow strict Covid procedures, including a one-way system through the main entrance and exit, staying at their tables (unless using the toilets) and wearing face masks when leaving their tables.

There are a range of street food vendors, including fish and chips from Seawise, Rad Burger and pizza from Ovesu Van.

Tables can be booked in groups of up to six people, compliant with the latest government guidelines, and drinks can be ordered via smartphone.
