Ramsgate's blue plaque locations revealed

Ramsgate has played host to some of the most successful and influential people to have lived and here are the blue plaques dedicated to their memories.
KARL MARX
The German philosopher, sociologist, economic historian, journalist, and revolutionary socialist who developed the theory of Marxism stayed at 62 Plains of Waterloo in 1879.
JOHN LE MESURIER
The BAFTA Award-winning English actor, well-known for playing sergeant Arthur Wilson in Dad’s Army, lived at 8 London Road for 13 years.
MAJOR-GENERAL SIR CHARLES WARREN
General in the British Royal Engineers and head of the London Metropolitan Police, from 1886 to 1888, during the period of the Jack the Ripper murders, Sir Charles Warren lived at 10 Wellington Crescent for 13 years.
FRANK MUIR
The English comedy writer, radio and television personality was born and spent his childhood at The Derby Arms in Margate Road.
WILL HAY
The English comedian, actor, film director and astronomer lived his life at 3 Guildford Lawn.
WILKIE COLLINS
This English novelist, playwright, and author of short stories stayed at 14 Nelson Crescent during the 1870s.
SAMUEL TAYLOR COLERIDGE
An English poet, literary critic and philosopher, who with friend William Wordsworth was a founder of the Romantic Movement in England, he has stayed in 3 Wellington Crescent during the 1830s and also numbers 7, 28 and 29.
