With plenty of tricks and flips, Revolution Skatepark in Broadstairs celebrated its 20th anniversary in style.
Skaters of all ages enjoyed demonstrations and competitions, as well as live music and food.
Sam Watling, of Revolution Skatepark, said: “Now the dust has finally settled on our 20th anniversary part we can sit back and remember a fantastic day and night which will not be forgotten for a long time.
“All day long there were only great vibes coming from everyone no matter of age or what they were riding.
“We were visited all day by customers old and new and it was great to see so many of you.
“The Rampit scooter team arrived in their skatepark tour bus and did several demos throughout the day, impressing the crowds along with autograph signing.
“Our very own Rev Squad gave their first demo and we were stoked to add 10 new members.
“We also had a rodeo bull and mechanical surfboard in the marquee during the day and amazing food was served up by the Larder Catering Company, which kept everyone fuelled.”
An adult-only evening party then followed until late.
“The young ones left us and the oldies came for a night of skate and party,” Sam said.
“We were joined by the Death Skateboard Team who were also celebrating 20 years of good times.”
Dan Chapman has run the business since the day doors opened and has battled to keep the skatepark going.
“Keeping a business open for 20 years is an incredible achievement, let alone keeping a skatepark running for this long,” Sam added.
