Fears are growing for the safety of a graphic designer who went missing from his Margate home on a stormy night.
Kent Police are appealing for information or any sightings of Martin Leathead, 43.
He was last seen at his Upper Dane Road home at about 9.15pm on Thursday, February 13, and was reported missing soon afterwards.
His blue Renault Laguna was found in the car park at the Turner Contemporary gallery on Margate sea front later that night.
Detective Inspector Jon Holl said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have seen Martin after he left home last Thursday. He has not been in contact with his family since then which is out of character and we are concerned about his welfare.
“We have been reviewing CCTV from near where his car was located and making enquiries since he was reported missing but have not been able to trace any sightings of him.
’It was stormy on Thursday night – perhaps people were out watching the waves on the seafront and may recall having seen Martin. Please contact police if you can assist our investigation.”
When he left home Martin was wearing blue jeans, a blue sweater with the wording GANT on the front and a brown suede-type waist length jacket and brown shoes. He is described as 5ft 10in, of stocky build, with brown hair, a receding hair line and blue eyes.
Anyone who saw Mr Leathead is asked to contact Kent Police on 101, giving reference 13-1574.
